Tell us a little bit about yourself. Who is Christina?

Fashion designer with a wide range of experience, collected and focused on reviving and maintaining my cultural heritage. I will relax when I die, haha.

What role does The Agora play in your story?

The Agora is a hotel where I grew up as a child, and it holds many beautiful memories for me. But the newly renovated Agora is a blessing and has allowed me to be a part of the rejuvenation of a historic building close to my heart. I am very happy to have collaborated with the creators, and extremely grateful that we share the same ethos, aesthetic, values, and approach to life.

In what ways does your work give you purpose?

Creating and producing meaningful, sustainable, eco-friendly pieces. I aim to merge modern design with heritage crafts, and simultaneously revive arts that are on the verge of extinction.

What are the moments you feel grateful for what you doo?

When products we create with artisans are being appreciated and valued by the consumer!

How do you motivate yourself to do the things you struggle with?

I change my perspective and find a creative solution to the problem. I break it down and organise myself with a schedule, program, tasks, and deadlines. I fall back on a structure.

In what ways does your work give you purpose?

When do you feel most vulnerable?

When I’m trying to transmit my vision, but it feels like I cannot get it across or define it.

What are you most grateful for, and how do you embrace that feeling in your life?

I’m grateful for the island I live on, and he freedom it gives me to explore, but also the ability to explore the rest of the world. I love being inspired by different cultures.

What pleases you in your day-to-day life?

The thing I cannot live without…love, music, and food.

How do you balance productivity and presence?

The one drives the other. They happen simultaneously.
